I’ve been talking to this guy for a couple of weeks. I’m 30 and he’s 25. He’s been asking me out for 3 years and I finally decided to go. Before I came to visit family for the holidays, we were getting along well. Good sex too. Only hiccups were my dog pooped at his house and he was upset and made me go buy carpet cleaner. We also had a communication issue on Christmas where he basically said he doesn’t want to text or call mw too much because he wants to feel wanted. Drinking has been in the way this past week. I’ve drunk texted him twice this wasn’t going to work. The first time was because of the communication thing. The second time was after an incident were he drunk called me. On that phone call he asked me to buy him and his friends pizza (on speaker) and I said no. He responded “I only f*** with women who f**** with me” then Whispered to his friend that I was annoying. I told him what he said the following day and he said “lol sounds like something I would say”. No apology or anything so I didn’t respond. I got drunk last night though and told him it wasn’t going to work because he was rude and didn’t apologize. Then I blocked his number. He messaged me on Instagram asking how he was playing games so I told him how I felt about the situation. I apologized for blocking him and told him I was taking my sadness about another situation out on him (the other situation is my best friend of 13 years got drunk and punched me in the face last week). He accepted my apology so I said maybe we can give things a chance in the new year. No response. I’m giving up alcohol for a while, but did I ruin this situation?
