So I’ve known this friend group for about a year now and I’ve been conflicted this entire time because I’m not sure if they really like me or if I’m just following them around. Recently they met this new guy who happens to know me as well. Immediately they added him on socials and actively seek for him, while I’ve been trying to get to know them and maybe even a group chat for months. Recently my friend, the one I knew first before meeting all of them, the friend who I had thought I’ve been closer with, had gifted everyone a gift except for me including the guy they just met 3 months ago. It stings and I don’t know what to do. Obviously it’s not obliged to do so but I just don’t know what I’ve done differently from him. Advice?
