A while ago my stepdad was kind of bullied out of work by a few senior people above him. It really affected him and it got to the point where he dreaded going to work. I just had a conversation with my Mum and Sister about it and they were belittling him and saying he should have been a man and fought back. They were basically calling him pathetic, no matter how nicely they dressed it up.
I argued that it was different, them being senior people who could have taking action against him for any misstep. Their opinion didn’t change.
They are always preaching about how I should show more emotion and then they do this. I’ve seen what happens when you get vulnerable around them.
Never believe them when they say it. It’s a trap.
