So, I have realized that at work, whenever our team is given work instructions, requests etc. The person speaking hardly keeps eye contact with me! We work in small teams of usually two, sometimes three. When a supervisor is giving instructions for example, he/she often takes a quick glance at me in the beginning of the briefing and doesn’t take much eye contact with me after that.

I don’t know why does this keeps happening. Do I look/seem inattentive, uninterested or what? Could it come down to the fact, that I look a lot younger than my colleagues and therefore might be superficially seemed as more inexperienced/junior?
