I just wanted to make this post for some clarity and reassurance after the insane amount of gaslighting I just went through over this.
My boyfriend and I have been together for seven years and we never used condoms, maybe once or twice five years ago.
I went over last night and for some random reason (perhaps divine intervention) I decided to open a drawer to see if there’s anything I can wear to bed and I SEE A THREE PACK OF CONDOMS.
I immediately started freaking out and ask him whose are these and he lies to me three times before he concludes that those are his little brother’s and that he hid them for him.
He first said, “babe you know I always want to use condoms with you” first of all what? You haven’t suggested use to use condoms since we were in college YEARS ago. Then he said “I have them just in case we want to use them” – We literally never use condoms.
I then looked down and saw that one of the condoms were was freaking ripped and then this idiot proceeded to say that he masterbates with them?! He finally came to the conclusion to say that he hid these for his sixteen year old brother and that he lied and got nervous.
Obviously if you were telling the truth, I think you would state the truth first before coming up with three different stories.
Can I also mention that he started to profusely sweat during this?! Claiming that it was hot and because he just ran with our dog when it’s 30 degrees outside and all he did was go back and forth with our dog for literally twenty seconds. This guy is a gym rat and I never seen break a sweat doing far more????
He said he got them for his brother a long time ago and I then went to our nearest gas station and the condoms I bought at the gas station has the exact same expiration date as his.
He’s adamant that he bought these for his brother and hid it for him.
I broke up with him last night because these kind of trust issues will never be recovered.
I’m sorry for the world’s dumbest post but my heart hurts and there’s really no one I can talk to about this, would love some thoughts and opinions on this. It’s pretty daaaaaamn obvious he’s a lying piece of shit right?
