My bf (23M) kissed his best friend (22M) on New Year’s Eve as a joke ofc. But then he laughed at me (20F) jokingly saying that haha I stole your new years kiss.
I looked at him really really hurt because I imagined that kiss for days before, imagined kissing him and saying that I love him.
Now I feel like that’s ruined, ofc I felt like I’m gonna cry and after that he saw it on my but I don’t think he even realized how hurt I was. I know I should let it go because they’re homies.
But I still feel really bad. Not sure what to do now, to not feel sad?
It’s was a joke but am I too sensitive?

I talked to him about it because he realized I feel sad about something. He apologized and kissed me romantically, he didn’t know I planned to kiss him but he does feel sorry.
Communication is still a key.
