I’m currently getting a divorce. We are very amicable and still live together. I’ve been with my wife for 10 years and married for 1. I’m leaving for the holidays and she called me to tell me she couldn’t find her wallet. Yes she didn’t come right out and say it but it felt like she was accusing me of taking it or hiding it. I asked her to call me when she found it.
I’ve been basically financially taking care of her for the past decade. She was unemployed for an extended period of time and all I did was support her. Never even suggested she needed to get back to work. 🤷🏻♂️I don’t know I’m not a bad person. I loved her and thought she loved me. Anyway she found her wallet. It was in a place that I obviously didn’t go. I’m just dumb founded and hurt that she possibly could think something like that of me. Hopefully I’m just being overly sensitive to our situation. I wish her the best.
