so i am 19 years old, i have a NW2 with no crown loss yet. i went to a derm and got prescribed 1 mg finasteride as well as topical min(not prescription, just suggestion) the min has been good, no side effects at all. but on 1mg of fin i had extremely itchy nipples, nothing sexual though. i heard that could be gyno forming so i stopped for 2 weeks and dropped the dosage to .25 every day after consulting my derm. i’ve been on .25 for 3 weeks. i was all good until a week ago, my nipples feel strange now. like maybe im overthinking but they feel sore and sensitive at times. i’m considering dropping finasteride, i don’t want to but i also don’t want gyno. so my question is, has anybody not done anything about hair loss and it just ended up stopping? i know that can happen. i have no family history of baldness which gives me a little hope.
