Should I give a guy I don’t find physically attractive a chance?

I’ve been talking to this guy for about a month. We have some things in common and he’s funny, he asked me out but I’m still hesitant.
I don’t know if i should even get into it if I’m not physically attracted to him. Would it turn into a bigger issue when we get into a relationship?
