So I have been dating this girl, non exclusively, for about a month. She’s into me but she is busy and so am I but less busy.
Me: FTE software engineer (100% remote), business owner (Airbnb), President of non profit, bird dad.
Her: FTE consultant company (in person work 2/5 days), gym coach, cat mom, sleep aholic (8 hrs minimum for day.
We’ve gotten intimate a couple of times and spent new years together. She seems very interested but is a phone caller. Our text conversations loose buzz and I can phone call but it’s not my best work (WTF can you talk about daily and how to keep the conversation going or know when to end it). I’ve heard horror stories of friendzone from calling too much! Not looking for a FWB situation and she isn’t either.
My question is… WTF can you talk about daily that’s not interview style? We banter in person and I make her laugh and we conversate that isn’t just question and answer. She doesn’t like texting and prefers phone calls. Met through dating app. How can I improve my calling game? I also don’t know who brings up exclusiveness, as we’ve discussed before in the sense of what her past has looked like and I get it varies. I am talking to other women but she’s just talking to me… As far as she says but who knows. Should I wait for her to bring it up as I like the connection minus me sucking at phone calling.
