I’m interested in dying my light brown hair to a black, but I have a light brown beard to match and I worry it would be weird having a two-tone look like that. Do you dye your beard to match your hair? What’s the best way?

  1. Never had that problem. Just shaved my head when I started getting a bald spot, like hell if I’m letting my body do something halfway.

  2. Light going dark is easy. Use overtone or something simple that eventually washes out (semi permanent) or do something that’s super temporary to see if you even like it.

Honestly I can’t say about dyeing your beard too. Might be cool? Do what you want.

Don’t be afraid to just shave everything off if you truly hate it. But honestly most color eventually washes out.

As another person said. If you have the money, let a professional do it. That being said, I do all my bleaching and dyeing myself unless I got money to blow (bleaching professionally is GOOD but expensive). Last time I had my hair professionally bleached was over 1 year ago though.

I have light brown hair with a black beard and blondish mustache 😌. I’ve only ever bleached my hair and gone lighter to blonde. But I do lots of colors like blue, silver, purple, green, etc.

    It’s fun.

  3. Go Natural, most dye jobs you can tell from 40 paces, don’t want to look like a Beatle from the 60’s.

  4. I bleach and dye my hair so that it comes out kind of pink-purple and fades to a nice pink color, but I don’t touch my beard.

  5. I mean, actual hair follicles can change color over time, a lot of dudes have naturally mismatched scalp and beard hair, no biggie.

I met this dude once who had brunette hair and a beard that was speckled black and orange

  6. When I do it I do it myself. I use henna based dyes. They work great and don’t cause the damage that chemical dyes do to my hair type. My mom is a beautician so I learned that way. With a beard a light application works best and use a comb for even coverage.

  7. I did it in college during freshman year as an act of freedom? Rebellion? Idk. I legit randomly bought blonde hair dye and dyed half of my fauxhawk blonde and kept the other side its natural dark brown. Girls liked it for first few weeks then I got bored of it. I later dyed it red didn’t look as good. Freshman year was a weird time.

I’d say go for it but definitely do see research and male sure you do it correctly. Also get ahold of some apps to find a filter that can show you what it looks like. Don’t jump into something blind.

  8. i go to any hairdresser that provides the color.

if i want extra quality, i just go to a women saloon bar that Doesn’t restrict guys since they tend to have better product.
