Please help me understand. I (37F) am new to dating apps. I haven’t had to find a date since 2009. I am attractive, fit, educated with zero photo filters on the profile. I get lots of likes/swipes and matches. I weed out scammers and AI. I don’t even go for attractive looking men but rather aim for quality authentic looking men.
When I get a match- nobody sends me a message first and when I send the message, these matches very sparingly respond. And when they do, it’s short lived then they go silent.
Please help me understand if there’s some kind of secret code of conduct. Why is it so hard for my matches to carry a conversation?
