How can I take my name out of a house contract?

Hello guys, I used to live with my parents do a lil bit, but I moved out with a friend 7 months ago, even if I showed the agency a letter from my bank with my new address they still don’t want to take my name out of the contract. What do I need to do for make them take my name out of the contract?
