My wife manages our finances as I have been battling anxiety and depression for years and money is a big trigger for me.
This year is our 15th anniversary and my wife wants us to get the modern gift of watches. However, our anniversary is January 3rd and we already had a Christmas that was way over budget. This left us behind on several bills.
For our anniversary we got new expensive Apple Watches. Now I am returning mine so that we can catch up on bills. As it is we will still have some catch up work to do, but I can’t have an expensive watch on my wrist when I know we’ll just be getting more behind on bills.
Adulting suck. She doesn’t seem to think it is necessary, but there is no way that we’ll be able to catch up on everything next pay period without the cash back.
I told her that it is ok, but that we have to get caught back up.
Not really sure why I am posting, other than to say money issues suck. I used to work at the store that we purchased them from and am feeling pretty humiliated to do this return.
