So, my boyfriend, now ex we’re together for almost 2 months. We had been talking for around 8 months and out of those 8 months 6 of them he was convincing me to be his girlfriend. I was hesitant because I was so scared of getting hurt. He was the one who said “ I love you” first and was the one who fell first. Anyways, when we got together he had told me how his ex had texted him and I had told him I was okay with it since he was honest. I didn’t mind them talking since he had told her he had a girlfriend and she had even asked to see photo of me. She had said how beautiful I was and how lucky he is to have me. My first impression of her is that she is very sweet. Prior to them hanging out my ex and I had sex. He was my very first. Before we had sex I had ask him to promise me that he wouldn’t leave me after having sex, he of course promised. The following day he saw his ex.. he told me nothing happened between them and that they just caught up. I believed him, he never gave me a reason not to. He started getting distant, I asked him about it and he said that when he was with her, she kissed him and said she still carries feelings for him. We broke up, he said he didn’t have feelings for her, but feels bad for lying that nothing happened. He claims that he didn’t kiss her back, but I have a hard time believing this. I want us to work out, I miss him so much. I’ve never felt like this for anyone else. Should I talk to him? He said he doesn’t want to date and wants to work on himself.
