I’m trying to make new friends that are around my age (19) and my town is populated with mostly older people. There’s only one person at my work who’s around my age, but we both work in completely seperate parts of the building so we don’t get to talk much.
I would try to make friends on discord, but I dont like doing that since I don’t know the person IRL, leaving me more susceptible to manipulation. There’s not really a whole lot of places I can think of where people my age go that isn’t 40 minutes away (I don’t have a car or a driver’s license). I was thinking of potentially learning Martial Arts once I get a car, but that’ll be a LOOOONG time away in this economy.
I don’t really have a whole lot of interests aside from Games, Anime, and DND and theres not really a whole lot of places in my area to talk about any of those.
There really is jack shit to do in my town.
Edit: I should probably add the fact that I’m on the spectrum and that my town is really small, meaning if I wanted to do any fun stuff, i’d have to go 20 minutes out of town which isn’t feasible when you dont have a car and your only choice is walking in the middle of winter.
