I recently found out that my husband made his sister the second beneficiary to his life insurance in the case of both of our deaths. We have two children that are minors. He said that he made her in charge in case that happens before they are 18. I told him I was upset he didn’t think to discuss this with me first since it has to do with out children and I don’t know her well enough to say I would have chosen her initially. He says I am making a huge deal about all of this and that he doesn’t trust my family.
I explained that I am not so much upset that he chose her but rather that he made the decision without talking with me first and even told her before he even told me.
