TL;DR partner lying about credit card debt
Found a credit card that my partner (m34) opened without telling me. It has 6k on it that they racked up recently.
I (31f) feel hurt by the lying. I had suspicion months ago but I let it go and forgot about it.
We are trying hard to own a home and create a better life for our children. We came up from poor homes. I worked hard to get into the position I am in. Currently on maternity leave and we have two kids. We both have good jobs. Money is tight right now but we have been fine.
I am upset with the lying as it isn’t the first time he. In addition, I am heartbroken because uase his irresponsibility impacts me and our family.
They seem committed to making it work. If I decide to do that, how do we recover from this? Any tips?
