I’ve been telling my husband for months now that this year I want us to go on a few family vacations. Nothing extravagant, just a quick 3 hour road trip for a night to make some memories with our daughter. He knows that’s important to not only me, but to build memories with our daughter. Money is not an issue. I’ve been talking about going to the snow for a night, (3 hours north) for months now and today I go and book it and he immediately says “don’t book it.” “We can do fun things in this area.” I respect his side and agree there are things we can stick to locally, but if money isn’t a problem, and it means a lot not only to me, but to his daughter to experience snow, I think it’s very closed minded and stubborn to not even negotiate about it. How do you compromise on this?
