Before I moved to Switzerland I wasn’t actually aware of existing *Fasnacht* \- this is how the carnival is called here. And I was even more surprised this is such a colourful event. Depending on the city/region, there are usually few days up to one week of parades with loud music, colourful costumes and tons of confetti thrown into spectators.
So my question is, is the carnival also celebrated in such a awesome way anywhere else in the Europe?
