It”s causing a big rift in our friendship on his part, which I understand. He’s angry that I’ve been over to his place (I never asked, he invited me), but i refuse to allow him over to mine. He’s very unstable, and it’s like he doesn’t even realize it. I don’t want someone in my home, my sanctuary, shouting at me, venting to me aggressively, showing up unannounced, calling me names, guilt-tripping me. We’ve only ever hung out with each other privately, but never in public. So I have no idea how he treats others. I’ve offered multiple times to go out and eat and maybe after we could go to my place. He refuses. Sometimes I try asking him personal questions to get to know him better, he refuses. I feel we’ve reached an impasse, almost a point of no return. I’m really unsure what to do or say here.
