Serious question for men out there, why is it bad if I want a man who can provide? If I have his children and want to raise them (stay home) am I a gold digger for thinking ahead and okay, I want a man who can take care of the financial end of things if that happens?

I have a great job and take care of myself, I’m just finding so many boys calling women gold diggers for having this standard. And it’s become more often these days if a woman wants that.

When I dated my ex who was a provider, people looked down on me, as if I was a golddigger (they were jealous) but still. Why? I see a lot of people assuming a woman is golddigging she dates a man who has money?

I’ve also noticed men who say this a lot are men with no gold to dig.
