(Yep, Americans are considering alternatives again) I know that many American movies portray these little US towns in the middle of nowhere as great, but the reality these days is that the downtown’s have been shuttered by box stores and the culture has gone steeply downhill. I’m just curious if there’s actually still a sense of town pride and kindness in the UK like movies make it seem.
