1. If you have ‘Waited someone out’ so they don’t propose to you then you should do the right thing and tell them.
   Have someone toy with emotions that way…. Knowing they are more into the relationship than you are, or knowing they have different ideals and letting them burn it out of their system overtime is cold man, so fucking cold.

2. Yeah…..my wife proposed to me. She just beat me to it, is all. I was mere days from asking her. I told her, “Girl, if you were just a little more patient, this could’ve gone the traditional way.” LOL. All good though. I had her ring for her.

   Avoiding a messy situation arising from that kind of thing is part of why you sit down and discuss marriage as a couple rather than try to have popping the question be a true surprise.

4. Just don’t get married and live together happily anyway.
