I get racially stereotyped in dating so makes it very hard to chat nevermind meet someone. What I am experiencing increasingly these days, are profiles where woman are either showing a few pics of themselves in a specific angle, as to not show their curves and or they send you 2+ yr old pictures and it’s not always easy to spot if they are older. They always say they’re recent but theyre not.
So you talk, eventually swap numbers, even arrange a date, and they are usually faraway from me but I’m willing to make the effort to travel. Then I try to verify their pics on Facebook as they don’t always have or it l can’t find them. When I do get to check it, it’s there that I see them for how they actually look, and I’m just not attracted and they have been dishonest. So now I need to cancel the date and I don’t want to hurt their feelings so I don’t say the real reason. I’m just fed up with this crap. You really can’t give people the benefit of the doubt anymore. I have been on so many dates where they don’t look Ike their pictures and I refuse to travel so far on a chance. It’s just soul destroying, why can’t people just be honest and upfront…?
