Just took our first trip to puerto Vallarta and fell in love with it. Vacations/gateways no matter big or small always refresh and strengthen our marriage. Taking away the stress of life even temporarily helps to remind you why you fell in love in the first place. Just do it!

  2. Good looking couple! I’ve never been down there, but will have to do some research. Did you feel like it would be a safe place to bring kids?

  3. Looks nice! Bit far away for us for a short trip (from Europe) but the husband and I go on trips and vacations all the time. Love it!

  4. Vacations are good but not if you just live for them and need to escape your life.

  5. Only trip I’m taking is down a flight of stairs. But glad ya’ll doing good 🙂

  6. I live in Arizona, too many bad tourist stories to ever consider Mexico. Yes even in the tourist traps.

  7. Couldn’t agree more. There’s no one better to travel with than your spouse. We always keep an active countdown until our next trip, whether it’s weeks, months or years. I’m glad you had a wonderful trip!

  8. My husband and I both work in very high stress jobs. We got married in March and we’re doing a honeymoon in Isla Mujeres at the end of the month. We splurged and got a room with a hot tub on the balcony overlooking the beach.

Much needed and very well deserved.. we’re looking forward to it!

We’re actually doing another couples’ trip to San Miguel de Allende in July with friends and then NYC in November. Traveling together is such a wonderful bonding experience.

I’m so happy to see this pic and that y’all had a great trip! Cheers to many more for you guys!
