Over the past few years the EU has really led the world in anti trust and anti monopoly laws.
Today they are stopping Amazon acquiring irobot.
They also forced apple to support USB C.
They blocked egregious credit card charges.

They’ve issued fines to big companies like Google and Apple and Amazon for anti competitive practices.

How did the EU become so Pro consumer in its laws? Because other countries have not necessarily followed suit.
