Hello! I’ve been actively working on my social skills and have found myself enjoying social environments more. However, I’ve been encountering a recurring issue where despite feeling confident and receiving positive signals from some individuals (particularly women)

I also experience a LOT of negative reactions/challenges from other men, especially from certain guys who try to dominate or ridicule or ‘put me in my place’ in front of others, whether I have engaged in their group or not.. some will go out of their way to come and try and ruin my good energy. I feel like I’m a target for these people, I don’t know what is causing this, but it’s really affecting my ability to remain a positive and outgoing individual.

I’ll dance, enjoy myself and the company of my friends, I can feel that I have quite a strong presence but in a positive, not in an overbearing way. I notice interest and choosing signals from women. I’m just trying to enjoy myself and spread that positive energy with others.

I try to treat everyone with initial friendliness and respect, but this is often met with disrespect/derision/negativity.
I’m seeking advice on how to handle these situations and what could be the reason behind these occurences being so common for me.

Has anyone else faced similar challenges, and if so, what strategies have you employed to navigate such dynamics confidently and effectively? I’d appreciate any insights or tips you can share. Thanks!
