TLDR:Moved to new floor where everybody says hi to each other and feel weird deciding whether or not to
Ik this is going to sound stupid but I am a major overthinker. Because of some roommate issues I had to move dorms after first semester. I would usually just give an awkward nod or smile on my last floor. But on this new floor everybody says hello to each other (or it feels like it). I dont really know a lot of the new girls yet and especially not by name. Right now I’m just doing the awkward smile. Idk I just don’t know when the right time to say hi is or like do I say it to everybody or just sometimes. I know this sounds dumb. I would like to connect more with my new floor than my last as they seem more outgoing but I’m just a pretty shy person so I’m not used to it. Like is it weird to just give a hey to people I haven’t met yet? I got to meet like ten or so but only know most by face and there’s probably 30+ more I haven’t seen yet. Idk.
