I need a parenting gut check. Would you be upset if your parents were watching your kid and let their neighbor (whom you don’t know) take your kid into the bathroom instead of helping your child themselves? My two year old is mostly potty trained. The neighbor is female; same as my child.
I’m feeling like this is carelessly crossing a boundary and I want to talk to my parents about not letting it happen again. I’ve had some same aged friends say they think it’s generational, but they agree it’s not cool. I am 35m and my parents are both in their 60s. Would love to hear from a Redditor my parents’ age in addition to other opinions.
