Trash the dress. Or trash a canvas. Weddings are all about the pristine, clean, and fancy. Bring something to destroy as a group and it makes the whole affair much more memorable.
Open bar, good cake, impeccable DJ
Open bar, beautiful venue, watching a couple who clearly adore each other get married (not all wedding couples are like that).

I was on a lot of weddings the last 14 years as a wedding photographer. The perfect wedding is usually dictated by the people there.
You can have a small wedding with no money but if the people there party hard, have fun, laugh, joke and dance it beats every big formal super expensive wedding.
Guests can make or break a wedding.
Deciding to enjoy whatever happens and be grateful for the ability to throw a party.
Also, someone gave me really good advice before I got married. When you are standing in front of all your friends and family, while the officiant speaks, take a moment to look around you at all their faces and remember how it feels to be surrounded by people you love, who are happy for your happiness.
Good food.
I would love to attend a wedding that’s thoughtful and what the bride/groom want rather than what other people/their parents want. It can be a small, intimate wedding on a small budget
