I’m not american and I recently decided to listen to some of the old archived episodes of art bell, ngl it sounded like the most insane radio show of all time. it was pretty random, art could be talking to a complete lunatic one day and a nasa scientist the next. he was truly a talented host and made the show really good to listen to, even if the people were talking utter crap. the callers were funny, usually they were utterly insane, I remember one episode where a “psychic” woman claimed art bells dead wife romana communicated with her, art was clearly not happy with this but played along, even as you could tell how uncomfortable he was.
