Hello all,
I am an Indian and I was discussing with my fellow Indians that india is not secular. The discussion grew into dividing secularism as positive secularism and negative secularism.
I am of the opinion that these terms are created to redefine the term secular and is not used anywhere else in the world other than in india.
My fellow citizen is of the opinion that Americans recognize it and that some American laws and practices are not secular. Like the use of bible for taking an oath.
So my question to you is whether you believe in positive/negative secularism or not?
