I (14M) went to some dance lessons with about 30 people of my school. We are like 80 people in total, but all that’s not important. I found a girl (17f) I really liked. We danced a few times and eventually I asked her to go to the prom at the end of the year. It all went pretty well and she even asked me if I wanted to go to the advanced course with her. Most of my friends say I have no chance with her, because of the age gap, but one I’m very close with, though otherwise. I don’t know if I should try and go on dates with her, but I really like her and I would hate myself if I didn’t try at all. Should I try or just give up like everyone else says?
