I just bumped into a colleague on the street. I just smiled and said “hey (colleague name)” he smiled and waved back and then we both just continued walking. I’ve been at my company for around one year and maybe have contact with this person 1 time every week and the interactions are all work related.
It just felt extremely awkward that we just continued walking without stopping up and talking. Did something similar happen to you? Just a bit bummed out and fear that our next interaction at work will be really awkward now.
