I’m 28 years old, I have a successful business and three kids aged 5, 2 and 7 months.

Until recently I was able to manage somehow but I feel so overwhelmed I’m not sure I can do it anymore.

I’m trying to get my husband to help me but he’s not understanding the kind of help I need.

If I ask him to help me with anything he’ll do it right away. He’ll make the kids breakfast and get them to school. He’ll pick up groceries and other household items.

The issue is that I have to tell him. He won’t think of anything on his own. It’s like another employee not someone carrying the burden with me. I have to manage everything and make sure everything is getting done both at home and at work.

If I don’t remember that we’re running low on diapers, he’s not thinking about it. If I forget to put in a load and the kids don’t t have what to wear the next day it’s my fault. Yes I can tell him and he’ll do it but I still have to carry the responsibility of either doing it or asking him to do it.

How can I help him understand me better?
