Often, I feel overwhelmed or anxious when replying to people and end up procrastinating. Sometimes I try to reply quickly, but some days I get a lot of messages, while other days I receive none.

There are times when people call me, but my phone is on silent, and I forget to get back to them. By the time I remember, it could be 2-5 days later.

I’m not sure what’s normal in terms of how much interaction I should have with people or how to maintain connections. I have 3-5 friends who always pick up their phone or respond relatively quickly via text.

I have a lot on my mind, and I don’t always think about others, such as texting them to ask how they’re doing. Instead, I usually text them to plan to meet up for coffee and catch up sometime next month or this week. (when I’m in the city of they are)
And I have a pretty busy/stressful home life, so I really need alone time too. And most of these friends (I refered to) know that.

But for this life, this day and age u need to network with people.

Everyone I know lives far away from me, and I’m 25 years old. I’m not sure if this is normal, or if anyone else feels the same way. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with this?
