Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right group to ask. But I need advice on a business situation. So a couple I know have a comic con stall business. They sell Harry Potter merchandise etc. I recently checked the companies registar for their business and its showing up as a dormant company and the accounts are saying “£0”. Even though they are 100% trading and go to these comic cons multiple times every year. They earn roughly £2-5k per show.
My question is, is this allowed and if not, what are the consequences of trading while stating that your a dormant company and showing £0 on accounts.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Edit: it seems people are asking why I care. It because I know them closely and I want to make sure they don’t get into trouble
