What do you as an American think of the political system in Europe, which has several political parties who have a relevance, compared to the two-party system of the US?

In the US, there are also more than just two parties, but the voting system in the US basically means that only two parties are relevant in the political landscape and to voters.

In european countries, there often are something like 5-7 parties who are relevant to the political scene in the country. Who are in parliament.

What do Americans think about those differences between the US and Europe? What are pros and cons of the american political system (with two relevant parties) compared to the european system with a bunch of relevant parties? What do you like more?
