I have a been seeing a guy for a few weeks now. He said he really likes “sweet talk” after sex. What can I say to him to make him feel appreciated/cared for without saying the big words like “love”?

  1. “Are you ready for dinner?” and “Wanna go to bed?” are two that tell me I’m safe and in my preferred routine. “I’m big spoon this time, fight me.” was one that made me smile recently.

  2. “Your scent makes me happy. Even when you’re not around I can smell you on my sheets and it makes me smile.” (great one! Super cute to hear a girl say… unless he doesn’t smell good, then don’t use this one)

“What if we called into work tomorrow and stayed in bed all day??”

“I like being in your arms. It feels right.”

“If I fall asleep on your chest you can roll me off, but I’m too cozy to move right now.”

  3. If you’re talking specifically after sex, probably telling him he was great and made you feel amazing would be appreciated.

  4. I like that too but I’m not sure either about the specific. I guess anything that is obviously said with a good intention in mind would work. It’s a tricky situation because the best stuff is really lovey dovey and you don’t say it to just anybody and I’ve never experienced a situation where I’m not serious.

  5. after a physical activity like that, it’s good to focus on something positive for him. something like “gee, for a fat guy, you don’t sweat much”.
