My question is about big budget movies for the international audience and not about local movies.
For a structure like the european union that rivals the US, China and Japan the production of big budget international success movies is practically non existent, the last big movie that was an international success I remember of is Taxi.
Why is that?
Why the european cinema industry so weak?
Is it a problem of money?
is it the language barrier?
