Hi, I’m from Australia and am planning to go on exchange next year. My initial plan was to go to Europe or South America for exchange as it is a completely different culture to Australia. However, I’ve always wondered what the American college experience is like and met an exchange student at my uni from America and she said that I can always travel to Europe etc. later on, but this is the only chance to get the true American college experience.
My question is, in my position do you think that going to America for the ‘college experience’ is worth it?
As a bit of context for myself, I am quite outgoing, I love sports, and I will be 21 or just turned 22 by the time I go there.
