I’m 47 and have spent my last 20ish years sedentary, office jobs and now work remotely. I have bad knees from my army days, and lack of activity has probably made it worse. Obviously over weight and out of shape.

When I’ve tried going to the gym, I end up injured and then fall out of the habit.

For men over 45 who are similar, sedentary lifestyle for years and were able to overcome the hurdle and get fit, how did you do it? How long did it take you to feel like you’d made progress? What is your advice?
