okay so i’m in such a hard position right now and am in need of advice. i (26F) have been with my boyfriend (24M) for 3 years. i love him so much and he is amazing. so the problem is this.. we met online and he lives in a different state. he lives 6 hours away from my hometown/family. i am a BIG family person. me and my sisters are best friends my mom and i are extremely close. i see them 3x a week AT LEAST. when i first met my boyfriend he came to visit me and not even a month later moved to my hometown to be with me. he worked from home and i was in school full time. he stayed there for about a year and i lived with him throughout that time. since he worked from home he didn’t get out much and didn’t meet many friends. as soon as i graduated he decided to move back to his hometown and we did long distance for about 1.5 years. i made the extremely hard decision to move to him. i have since been here for 6 months. i don’t mind the area but i have met no friends and i miss my family and friends at home tremendously. its a little frustrating because he has NO family in this town. his parents live about an hour and a half away. so the main reason he moved back is for his hobby (that can be only done a couple months out of the year) and his job. it seems unfair because am homesick everyday. i just am so stuck and don’t know what to do. i love my boyfriend so much and i really want to spend my life with him. i just don’t know what to do.
tldr: my boyfriend lives 6 hours away from my family that i am extremely close too and i don’t know if i should move back to my family or stay living 6 hours away in a town i haven’t met many friends in.
