I always end up making bad decisions while talking to a person I don’t know or have met only a couple of times what really happen is that is either get too excited, anxious or I don’t know but I always forget to process what they have asked or said and I come up with answers really quickly most likely in a hurry which I majority of the time regret saying. I mean how should I calm my horses 🥲 For instance I called up customer care of an airline to ask some of my queries and there was lady on the other side of the call I don’t mind talking to females .In the end of the conversation she asked me bout my email address to solve one of my queries I straightway without even thinking once that I’m sharing my personal detail I told her my email address and then the call disconnected from their end just right after i said .com I was in literal sweat and panicked. Then I kept overthinking about it for an hour changing passwords and stuff( this is me btw I’m one of the best overthinker here). I have always realised when I try doing things from my own end it’s either a hit or a complete miss where the chances of hitting is almost next to impossible. Is there really something that anyone can advise me. Feel free to ask anything related to this in the comments.

  1. You’re simply too anxious. You need to relax and focus more on listening to the other person than worrying about what you should say while they’re talking. Get comfortable with pausing to speak and giving space for other people to speak. You don’t need to rush to fill in silences.
