Is it weird that I use a dating app?
I f 19 have recently been using dating apps. When I told my brother about this he warned me saying that only weird people are on dating apps. Here’s some back round, I have never been in a relationship before and all throughout high school and middle school I was asked out as a joke. I could never find anyone I wanted to date or anyone that wanted to date me. Now that I am working full time and have my own apartment I am wanting to go on dates and have a relationship even if it’s a short one. I don’t go out often and can be socially awkward at times. So I turned to dating apps, Her which is one mainly for women looking for women, not many people are on there in my area, so I turned to hinge. I am bisexual but feel more comfortable around women. I have a date this Friday and what my brother said is starting to get me worried if most people on dating apps are going to be weird or like me and just have a hard time meeting people. Any advice would be great! My brother only means the best for me and just said that because we are very close and I go to him for advice on life!
