I thought that if someone was on their phone in a group they may not be interested or open to chatting or having an conversation.
My mother told me no. They are just shy.
She also told me that if they go on their phone DURING an conversation it just means that they are shy…
I’m getting confused now…
I see people on their phone in school club and groups, I’ve told my mom that it makes it harder to meet people if everyone in a club is on their phones. My mom seems to disagree and she just says “It was always hard even 40 years ago.”
Social media has hurt socializing and phones are affecting it too…
I believe that phones are affecting how we communicate and it puts an wall. Blocking some people from communicating.
But could there be another meaning? Could my mom be right.
