My dad makes practically zero effort in seeing my 3 1/2 year old daughter, ive mentioned this and he makes excuses about working etc, he lives 10 minutes drive from us.
He wants me to go bowling with him one weekend (he doesent have much of a social life) but mentions nothing about seeing his granddaughter still.
I dont know whether to make the effort to go out with him given his lack of effort with my daughter as she is very important to me. When i take her to him (yes he basically never comes to me) he plays with her a little bit then thats it really, he is not nasty or anything but there isent much of a bond, ive stopped making any effort to be honest as i get nothing back.
Where do i go from here?
