Hi,
So I know some boroughs of NYC have a clear stereotype. Like, the Bronx has negative ones while Manhattan is seen as the center of the universe, and Staten Island is mocked.
However, I don’t often really know how Queens is viewed outside of NYC. Do people know it’s part of the city proper, and what do they know or think about it? What do people think if you tell them you are from Queens instead of just saying NYC?
I’d appreciate what non-new Yorkers have to say haha. Thank you!
