Often when researching things online, I get a lot of results from Germany, which may or may not apply to us.

Legal questions for example are a bit difficult to research, because often laws have the same or similar names in Austria and Germany. German lawyers websites/blogs often rank high in google results, and if they use a .net or .com domain, it’s not always immediately obvious that they are answering a question about German law, not Austrian law.

Researching products also sometimes leads to german stores first instead of Austrian websites, probably because they spent more on SEO.

Do other countries have the same issue? Belgians, do you get a lot of french/dutch results if you look something up in your native language? How about the Irish and getting UK results?
